Blue is the human player. Seven different-coloured CPU Crowns begin around the arena with Blue.
LAST CROWN STANDING
Eight Crowns enter a 9×9 arena. Blue is Player 1 and the other seven Crowns are controlled by the CPU. Eliminate rivals, use SECOND TURN tiles and survive the Golden Crown finale.
HOW LAST CROWN STANDING PLAYS
Every Crown uses the FULL spinner and moves one legal square up, right, down or left.
Each Crown receives one normal move when its turn arrives. CPU Crowns follow the same movement rules as Blue.
If a Crown lands directly on another Crown, the Crown on that square is eliminated and removed from the game.
Landing on one of the eight purple SECOND TURN tiles gives that Crown one immediate bonus spin and move. A Crown can receive a maximum of one bonus move in its turn and cannot immediately reverse back to the square it just came from.
If Blue is eliminated, the match continues. The player can watch the CPU battle at Normal or Fast speed, or skip ahead to the Final Two.
When only two Crowns remain, three Golden Crowns appear evenly across the centre of the arena. The finalists stop eliminating each other and race for the gold.
The first finalist to land on any of the three Golden Crown tiles wins the entire match.
